What happens if I don’t have sufficient funds in my Cash+ Flexi portfolio for the next monthly transfer?

For each auto invest, you can transfer up to 98% of your current Cash+ Flexi (SGD) portfolio value or 95% of your current Cash+ Flexi (USD) portfolio value.

For example, if a client has set up an auto-invest for S$100 from Cash+ Flexi (SGD) portfolio, if the client doesn’t have $102.05 ($100 / 98%), the scheduled transfer for auto-invest will fail.

What if my Cash+ Flexi portfolio doesn’t have enough funds?

If your portfolio balance is insufficient to cover the scheduled transfer amount:

  • The transfer for that month will be skipped automatically.
  • No internal transfer will be executed on the scheduled date.
  • Your auto invest will continue as normal for the following month (subject to sufficient funds).

Will I be notified?

Yes, we’ll notify you ahead of time if your portfolio balance is insufficient:

  • Weekly transfers: You will receive an email notification 1 day before the scheduled transfer date.
  • Biweekly and Monthly transfers: You will receive email notifications 7 days and 1 day before the scheduled transfer date.

How can I ensure my transfer is executed?

To avoid a skipped transfer, you can:

  1. Top up your Cash+ Flexi portfolio at least 1 week before the scheduled transfer date.
  2. Edit your auto-invest amount to stay within 98% (for Flexi (SGD)) or 95% (for Flexi (USD)) of your total portfolio value.

Note: If your auto-invest is skipped due to insufficient funds, no additional fees or penalties will be charged. Your recurring transfer will attempt again on the next scheduled date.
