Are there charges for making a withdrawal?

Syfe does not charge any withdrawal fees from your Brokerage account.

However, depending on your withdrawal currency and destination bank, certain external bank fees may apply.These charges are imposed by intermediary and/or receiving banks, and are entirely at the banks discretion.

Withdrawals to a Singapore Bank Account

We recommend selecting SGD to avoid potential foreign exchange (FX) charges from your bank.

For USD withdrawals to Singapore-based accounts:

  • Transfers between local banks may incur intermediary and/or receiving bank fees.
  • These fees are not charged by Syfe and are borne by the client.
  • Based on past cases, fees can be at least USD 50 per transfer.
  • Syfe is unable to advise on the exact fee before processing.

Withdrawals to an Overseas Bank Account

If your bank account is overseas or in a different currency, additional FX conversion fees and intermediary bank charges may apply.

The exact fees depend on your bank’s policies and the international transfer route.

How to Avoid Extra Charges

To minimise potential fees, you can convert USD to SGD directly within your Syfe app before submitting a withdrawal request in SGD.
