Yes, you may receive dividends from your investments, depending on the type of portfolio you hold.

Core and Select Portfolios

• These portfolios invest in diversified equity and bond ETFs, many of which distribute dividends.
• While not all companies or ETFs pay dividends, you will likely receive some, as your funds are invested across thousands of companies globally.

How dividends are handled:

• Dividends are automatically reinvested.
• They are first credited into the small cash balance maintained within your portfolio.
• Once the accumulated amount (including any new deposits) reaches an economically viable threshold, Syfe’s cash management algorithm triggers a reinvestment into your portfolio’s underlying ETFs.
• This reinvestment will be visible under the 'Transactions' section in your app as a purchase, and your holdings will be updated accordingly.

REIT+ Portfolios

• These portfolios invest in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), which typically provide regular dividend distributions.

Default dividend handling:

• Dividends are automatically reinvested by default.

Payout option:

• If your invested amount or portfolio value (NAV) is at least S$5,000, you may opt to (via your Syfe app) receive quarterly dividend payouts directly to your designated bank account instead.
• If your portfolio falls below this threshold, dividends will continue to be reinvested.

Income+ Portfolios

• Income+ portfolios invest in bond funds that aim to provide monthly dividend income.

Default dividend handling:

• Dividends are automatically reinvested by default.

Dividend payout option:

• If your invested amount or portfolio value (NAV) is at least S$5,000, you may opt to (via your Syfe app) receive monthly dividend payouts directly to your designated bank account instead. The dividends will be paid out within the first 10 business days of every month (for the previous month’s dividends).
• If your portfolio falls below this threshold, dividends will continue to be reinvested.

To view your dividends (REIT+ and Income+) in the Syfe app:

1. Open your Syfe app and tap on the relevant portfolio
2. Scroll down and tap on the “Dividends” section to view your dividend history and details

Important Notes:

• If your portfolio is currently set to reinvest dividends and you wish to start receiving payouts instead, we recommend toggling the option in your Syfe app at least 10 business days before the start of the next month or quarter.
  • Example: For an Income+ portfolio, if you want your March 2025 dividends to be paid out, we recommend you to switch the setting before 20 March 2025 (i.e. 10 business days before 1 April).
• When dividends are set to be reinvested, they are first accumulated in your portfolio’s small cash balance.
  • Once the amount (including any new deposits) reaches an economically viable threshold, it is automatically reinvested by our cash management algorithm.
  • If you later switch to a payout setting and the available cash balance is insufficient to cover the full dividend amount, Syfe may initiate sell orders in your portfolio to build up the necessary funds for payout.
