Odd Lot Trading
Odd lot trading is only available for Singapore-listed securities and is not supported for US or Hong Kong-listed assets. It allows you to trade smaller quantities than the standard 100-share lot. Charges and commissions are the same as standard lots. Odd lots are traded during the same market hours as standard lots.
To place an odd lot trade, select “Odd lot” as your order type in the app.
Note: Only limit orders are allowed for odd lots. Market orders are not supported, but you may consider investing in Bundles if you wish to place a market order.
Most SGX-listed securities support odd lots, except ETFs, which already trade in single-share units.
Since odd lots typically have lower liquidity, to improve execution chances:
- When buying, set a limit price slightly above the market.
- When selling, set a limit price slightly below the market.
Key Points:
- Minimum quantity: 1 share
- Maximum quantity: 99 shares
