How can we help?

The price I see on Google Finance is different from my execution price on Brokerage. Why?

Discrepancies between the execution price on Syfe Brokerage and publicly available sources like Google Finance occur due to the following reasons:

  • Multiple Exchanges (US Stocks)

The US stock market operates across multiple exchanges (e.g., NYSE, NASDAQ). Public platforms typically display data from a single exchange or a subset, so you may not see the full market picture or the best available bid/ask prices across all venues.

  • Delayed or Aggregated Price Data

Public sources typically show delayed prices (e.g., 15 minutes) or minute-level snapshots. In reality, hundreds or thousands of trades can occur within a second, each at different prices. Your execution reflects the real-time market price at the moment your order was filled.

Want more control over execution price?

You may consider placing a **limit order** to set the exact price at which you’re willing to buy or sell a stock. Please note that if the security does not reach your limit price, your order may remain unfilled.
