How to trade odd lots on SGX securities
- In the Syfe app, go to Trade and search for the stock.
- On the stock's page, tap Buy or Sell.
- Select “Odd lot” as the order type and enter your limit price and quantity.
Odd lots are not available in SGX Bundles. Bundles trade in standard lots only.
Quantity limits
- For the 11 stocks with a 10-share board lot: 1 to 9 shares per odd lot order.
- For all other SGX-listed stocks and REITs: 1 to 99 shares per odd lot order.
For example, to buy 25 shares of D05, you would place one standard lot order for 20 shares and one odd lot order for 5 shares.
Order types
Odd lot trades are limit orders only. Market orders are not supported for odd lots.
Ensuring fair execution
Liquidity for odd lots can be lower compared to standard lots. To improve your chances of execution we recommend:
- Buying: set a limit price slightly above the current market price.
- Selling: set a limit price slightly below the current market price.
Eligible assets
Most SGX-listed assets are available for odd lot trading. SGX-listed ETFs that already have a lot size of 1, odd lot trading does not apply to them. Please note that odd lot trading is not available for US or Hong Kong-listed assets.
Trading hours
Odd lot trades follow the same trading hours as standard lots on SGX.
Will the pricing of odd lots be similar to regular lot pricing?
Yes, the charges and commission are the same as regular lots.
