In the event of a client’s passing, a family member or legally appointed representative may contact Syfe to arrange the withdrawal of the investment proceeds from the client’s account.
Documents required
To process the request, please prepare the following:
- Original Death Certificate
- Grant of Probate (if a will exists) or Letter of Administration (if there is no will)
- ID of the Executor / Administrator
- Bank Statement of the Estate Account (if the intention is to withdraw the funds)
Once you email the documents to support.sg@syfe.com, our team will review and verify them. We will respond within 3 business days with the next steps.
What is a Grant of Probate?
A Grant of Probate is a court order that authorises the executor named in a will to administer the deceased’s estate according to the will’s instructions.

If there is no will, a Letter of Administration is a legal document that authorises an appointed administrator to manage and distribute the deceased’s estate according to the Intestate Succession Act.
