How is the overall risk rating calculated for Custom portfolio?

Each ETF in Syfe’s investment universe is assigned a risk score between 1 and 5 based on its underlying asset class, geography, and sector exposure.

A score of 1 indicates very low risk
A score of 5 indicates very high risk

Syfe calculates your Custom portfolio’s overall risk rating based on the weighted average risk scores of the individual ETFs within your portfolio. Learn more here.

Please note that all investments carry a certain degree of risk. You should consider your personal risk appetite and assess it against the risk rating of each Custom portfolio you create.

In general, Select Custom portfolios are best used to complement your core investment holdings and should make up less than 30% of your overall portfolio allocation.
