You may update the maturity instructions for your portfolio any time up until the investment cut-off time on the maturity date.
After the cut-off time, any changes to your maturity instructions will no longer be possible for that day.
Investment cut-off times
- Cash+ Guaranteed (SGD): 12 PM SGT
- Cash+ Guaranteed (USD): 12 PM SGT
If you selected “Reinvest”
The total value in your Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio will be reinvested automatically for the selected term, unless you update your instruction before the cut-off time.
If you selected “Keep Funds Idle”
Your funds will remain in your portfolio without earning interest and will stay there until you provide instructions on what to do next.
You may explore the current rates in the market and choose to:
- reinvest,
- withdraw to your bank, or
- transfer the amount to other portfolios or Brokerage.
Until you provide complete withdrawal or transfer instructions, we will not be able to move your funds, and they will remain in your portfolio.
Withdrawal
You will be given the option to withdraw your funds back to your bank account upon the maturity date after the investment cut-off time, as stated above.
The cut-off time to process your withdrawal instructions is 11 AM SGT.
If the withdrawal request was made before 11 AM SGT*
SGD Withdrawal - Receive funds on the same day
USD Withdrawal - Receive funds within 2 business days
If the withdrawal request was made after 11 AM SGT*
SGD Withdrawal - Receive funds the next business day
USD Withdrawal - Receive funds within 3 business days
* Timelines are dependant on the bank and destination
Therefore, you may cancel your withdrawal request before the 11 AM SGT cut-off time (E.g. Should you initiate a withdrawal request after the investment cut-off time on the maturity date but decide to cancel the request, you may do so before 11AM SGT the next day).
