What happens to my portfolio when it shows upcoming?

Firstly, Syfe invests your funds in fixed deposits with MAS-regulated banks giving you competitive guaranteed returns.

Funds received prior to 11 AM SGT on a business day will be invested on the same day.
Funds received after 11 AM SGT will be invested on the subsequent business day.

To illustrate:

Funds received between today 11 AM SGT and tomorrow 11 AM SGT will be invested tomorrow afternoon, provided it is a business day.

If you fund your portfolio on a weekend or public holiday, your funds will be invested on the next business day.

Once your investment has been made, you will receive an email notification. This email is informational only and no action is required.

Return accumulation begins the following calendar day, in line with how partner banks accrue returns from the day after the fixed deposit is placed.

Example of Daily Accrual Return

If your investment starts on 1 January 2024 for a 3-month term, it will mature on 1 April 2024.

Your returns begin accruing from 2 January 2024.

Your portfolio will earn daily returns from 2 January to 1 April (both days inclusive), for a total of 91 calendar days.
