How can we help?

Does the rate change often?

Once the updated rate is active, we will compare it to the rate you initially observed at the portfolio's creation. If the updated rate is lower, your funds won't be automatically invested. You will be notified of the rate decrease and given the choice to lock in at the updated rate, withdraw funds, or reallocate to another portfolio.

If the updated rate is equal to or higher than the rate you initially observed at the portfolio's creation, your funds will be automatically locked in at the updated rate, providing you with improved returns for your investment. This ensures that you consistently benefit from the best and most current rates for your Guaranteed portfolio.

Rate Changes and Updates

We evaluate Cash+ Guaranteed rates daily and update them whenever necessary. The most current rates are always available on the Syfe website and Syfe app.

During a rate update, the portfolio page may be temporarily deactivated on both the app and web dashboard. Once the rates have been refreshed, you can review the updated rate and proceed with creating or securing your portfolio.

Rate Updates on Portfolio

Rate adjustments apply only to portfolios that have not started investing. If your funds are being processed during a rate update, your portfolio will display “Rate on hold”.

In this case, your funds remain uninvested until the update is completed.

What happens after the updated rate is released?

After the new rate becomes active, we will compare it to the rate you observed when you initially created your portfolio:

If the updated rate is lower, your funds will not be automatically invested and you will be notified of the rate decrease. You may choose to lock in the updated rate, withdraw your funds, or reallocate to another portfolio or Brokerage.

If the updated rate is equal or higher, your funds will be automatically invested at the updated rate and you will benefit from the improved rate, ensuring you receive the best available return for your Guaranteed portfolio.
