Yes. On expiration days, orders for 0DTE - zero days to expiration options must be submitted before 3:15 PM ET for stocks and standard options, and before 3:30 PM ET for broad-based ETFs like SPY and QQQ.
Orders placed after these times will automatically be rejected or cancelled. You can still close existing 0DTE positions before the market closes or before auto-liquidation occurs, but new positions cannot be opened once the cutoff times have passed.
