Passkeys are a more secure, password-free way to log in, using your device's built-in authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or screen lock).
To create a passkey:
- Open the Syfe app and log in with your email and password.
- Go to Menu > App Preferences.
- Select Passkey.
- Tap Create Passkey (or Add another Passkey).
- Follow the on-screen prompt to verify your identity using your device's biometrics or screen lock.
- Once confirmed, your passkey will be saved to your device.
You can now log in using your passkey instead of your password.
Notes:
- Passkeys are tied to the device or password manager you create them on. If you get a new device, you may need to create a new passkey.
- You can have multiple passkeys across different devices.
- Your password remains active as a backup login method unless you choose to remove it.
