Your fingerprint or face must already be registered in your phone's own system settings (not the Syfe app) before this will work — the Syfe app uses whatever biometric data is already stored on your device.
Does the Syfe app ask me to set up biometric login automatically?
Yes. The first time you log in to the Syfe app on a new device, the app will prompt you to enable Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint login right after a successful login. Tapping "Enable" at that prompt sets it up immediately. If you skip it, you can still turn it on later via Menu > App Preferences > Screen Lock.
Can I use biometric login on Syfe web (browser)?
No. Biometric login (fingerprint, Face ID, Touch ID) is only available on the Syfe mobile app. It is tied to the biometric sensor on your physical device and does not work when logging in via a web browser.

Why is my fingerprint / Face ID login suddenly not working on the Syfe app?
This is usually caused by one of the following:
- Your device's system-level biometric settings were changed, reset, or re-registered (e.g. you added/removed a fingerprint in your phone settings) — this breaks the link to the Syfe app's saved biometric login.
- You recently reset your Syfe password — biometric login needs to be re-enabled after a password reset.
- The app needs a restart — try force-closing the Syfe app and reopening it.
To fix it: Log in with your password and OTP, then go to Menu > App Preferences > Screen Lock and toggle the biometric option off, then back on again to re-enroll it.
I reset my Syfe password — do I need to set up biometric login again?
