On Maturity

• There is an option to not reinvest under maturity options. What does this mean?

  We understand that you may need to explore various options in the market before you decide to reinvest for another term. Hence we have provided an option to NOT REINVEST which allows you to retain your funds in the portfolio. You can access these options from the portfolio page on App or Web Please note these funds do not earn any interest.

• On maturity, am I able to reinvest into a new term different from that of my current portfolio?

  Yes, you can change the term on maturity. Please follow the below steps.
  Step 1 : From Syfe Wealth Homepage > Click on “+ Add New” at the top.
  Step 2 : Create a new Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio with the new term that you would like to reinvest into.

  

  Step 3 : Navigate to your currently active portfolio and choose “Transfer to other portfolios” under Maturity instructions. Select the new portfolio that you created in Step 2.

  

  Please note that if you choose REINVEST under Maturity instructions, your funds will be reinvested for the same term as your existing Guaranteed portfolio.

  Done!

  On the day of maturity, after 3PM SGT, your total value from the original portfolio will be transferred into the new portfolio that you created in Step 2. Once funds are processed into this new portfolio, it will get auto invested. This may take up to 1 business day.

• Can I leave my funds in my Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio after the term?

  Cash+ Guaranteed is a managed investment portfolio and not a savings deposit account. Hence, prior to the 3PM SGT cutoff on your Guaranteed portfolio's maturity date, you are required to select one of three options: reinvest for compounding returns, transfer to another portfolio within Managed Portfolios Syfe Wealth or Brokerage, or withdraw to your bank account.

• What happens to my funds at the end of the term?

  If you had chosen for your Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio to be reinvested, your investment capital and returns will be reinvested for another term of the same duration unless changed.

  If you had chosen to not reinvest, your funds will remain in your portfolio awaiting for your instructions without earning any interest. You may explore the current rates in the market – choose to reinvest, withdraw to the bank or transfer the amount to other portfolios as per your preference.

  Please note the instructions need to be updated latest by 3PM SGT on the maturity date of your Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio. After 3 PM SGT, you can no longer edit the options as we would begin preparing your funds for the instructions you have provided.

• When can I change the maturity instructions for my locked-in portfolio?

  You have the option to update the maturity instructions for your portfolio up till 3 PM on the maturity day. After 3 PM, any changes to maturity instructions will no longer be possible. If you had chosen for your Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio to be reinvested, your investment capital and returns will be reinvested for another term of the same duration unless changed.

  If you had chosen to not reinvest, your funds will remain in your portfolio awaiting for your instructions without earning any interest. You may explore the current rates in the market – choose to reinvest, withdraw to the bank or transfer the amount to other portfolios as per your preference. Until you provide complete instructions for your bank withdrawal or portfolio transfer, we will not be able to move your funds and hence they will continue remaining in your portfolio.

• Will I be notified of the daily rate on the day my portfolio matures?

  Yes, on the day your portfolio matures, you will be notified of the guaranteed return rate for the day through both push notifications and email at 12 PM SGT.

  In case we are updating the rates for the day, you will not receive the notification at 12PM SGT. Instead, you will be notified of the updated rates immediately after the change has been implemented. Please note, during this period, we will temporarily deactivate the portfolio page on both the App and the Web dashboard (after logging in).

  In addition to the above, you will also be notified via push notifications 1 week before maturity, via email 3 days before maturity. If you have not provided instructions completely, you will be requested to provide instructions via in-app pop ups on the app.

• After the term, if I wish to withdraw or transfer funds to another portfolio, how long will it take?

  For withdrawal, please refer here for details.

  For transferring to another Syfe portfolio, we will take 1 business day. However to invest them in your destination portfolio, it may take up to 2 business days.
