Here’s a summary of how it works:
- Create a Cash+ Guaranteed portfolio by choosing your preferred base currency.
- For SGD, select your desired term (1, 3, 6, or 12 months).
- For USD, proceed with the 1-month term available via the Syfe app or website.
- Add funds into your portfolio. Note: For the Cash+ Guaranteed (USD) Portfolio, if you fund your investment in SGD (or any other non-USD currency), your funds will first be converted into USD for investment.
- Once your funds are processed, the portfolio will be automatically locked and queued for investment.
- Your funds will be invested within one business day.
- Funds received before 11 AM SGT on a business day will be invested the same day.
- Funds received after 11 AM SGT will be invested on the next business day.
- If funds are received on a weekend or public holiday, they will be invested on the next business day.
Reinvestment options at maturity
At the end of your selected term, you will have the flexibility to decide whether to reinvest or not.
- For Cash+ Guaranteed (SGD):
You may toggle your preference to reinvest or not reinvest anytime up to 3 PM SGT on the day of maturity.- If you opt not to reinvest before 3 PM, your funds will remain in the portfolio as SGD cash until you choose your next action (e.g., reinvesting at the prevailing rate, withdrawing, or reallocating your funds).
- For Cash+ Guaranteed (USD):
You may toggle your preference to reinvest or not reinvest anytime up to 12:30 PM SGT on the day of maturity.
- If you opt not to reinvest before 12:30 PM, your funds will remain in the portfolio as USD cash until you choose your next action (e.g., reinvesting, withdrawing, or reallocating).
- Please note that Cash+ Guaranteed (USD) currently offers only a 1-month term.
