How long does it take for funds transferred to be invested?

When you fund your Syfe Managed Portfolio or Cash Management, your funds will first be verified and confirmed by Syfe.

You will receive an email notification within one business day once your transfer has been confirmed. After confirmation, Syfe will proceed to invest your funds. The timeline depends on the type of portfolio you are funding, based on ordinary circumstances.

Portfolio Type Settlement Timeline
Core, REIT+, Specialised, Custom

Investment trades typically start within 1–2 business days

Settlement completes within 2–3 business days.

Income+ Investment trades typically start within 1–2 business days.
Settlement may take up to 4–5 business days due to a longer cycle of the underlying funds.
Cash+ Flexi (SGD), Cash+ Flexi (USD) Invested within 1-2 business days.
Cash+ Guaranteed Invested within the same business day if funds are received and processed before 11AM SGT.

Once settlement completes, your portfolio holdings and asset allocation will be updated on your dashboard. Until settlement is completed, your portfolio may temporarily display as “100% Cash”.

  • Weekends and public holidays are not considered business days.
  • In rare cases (e.g., corporate actions, rights issues, portfolio rebalancing), investments may experience slight delays. Syfe will make every effort to process your funds promptly and minimise any delays.
  • Syfe is unable to process your funds if your account onboarding has not yet been completed. If additional supporting documents are required for account verification, Syfe will reach out via email.
    • Please check your email inbox for any messages from Syfe with further instructions. If you have not received any email, kindly reach out to us at support.sg@syfe.com.
  • Similarly, if additional supporting documents are required for funding verification, Syfe will reach out via email. Please monitor your inbox and spam folders to avoid delays.
  • All investments are processed based on the designated dealing days of the underlying funds and the Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation schedule stated in the constituent fund’s prospectus.
