If I submit a full withdrawal/internal transfer request, will I get the full amount currently displayed in my portfolio?

When you submit a full withdrawal request, Syfe will:

  • Sell all holdings in the requested portfolio.
  • Deduct any outstanding fees owed to Syfe.
  • Credit any eligible dividends and rebates to your account.
  • Transfer the final proceeds to your selected destination, your bank account, Brokerage, or another Syfe portfolio.

Please note: A full internal transfer between portfolios (e.g. from Cash+ Flexi SGD to Core Equity100) has the same effect all assets in the source portfolio will be sold to fund the destination portfolio.

Will I receive the full amount shown in my dashboard?

The final withdrawal amount may differ from the portfolio value displayed at the time of your request. This also applies to full internal transfers. Here's why:

  • Market Fluctuations: Assets are typically sold within 1-2 business days after your request. Market prices may rise or fall during this period, which may affect the final amount. Thus, the final amount of your portfolio may be different from what you saw in the dashboard at the time of placing the withdrawal request.
  • Dividends: If your portfolio holds dividend-paying investments, rest assured if dividends are disbursed but we haven’t received them from our broker yet, we will front this amount as part of your final withdrawal payout. In the event of any shortfall once the actual amount is confirmed, we will credit you the difference accordingly.
  • Referral Bonuses: Bonuses are credited upfront but are subject to eligibility (e.g. referred users maintaining a portfolio for 3 months). If eligibility as per T&Cs isn’t met, the bonus amount will be deducted from your withdrawal.
  • Management Fees: Calculated daily and deducted monthly. Any outstanding fees will be deducted from your withdrawal amount at the time of processing. For more information on our pricing tiers and fee structure, please visit: Syfe Pricing
  • Foreign Exchange Charges: For overseas or cross-currency transfers (e.g. USD to SGD), the intermediary and/or receiving bank-imposed forex charges may apply and will be borne by you. For more information: Are there charges for making a withdrawal?
  • Trailer Fee Rebates: For Cash+ Flexi and Income+ Portfolios, any pending trailer fee rebates will be added to your Net Asset Value and paid out in your full withdrawal. Once received from the broker, these will be recorded in your portfolio transaction history.
  • Bank Charges: For withdrawals above SGD 200,000 to a local bank, funds are transferred via MEPS, which may incur additional cable and handling fees from your bank.
