Fractional trading allows you to purchase a portion of a share rather than a full share, enabling you to invest in your favourite companies regardless of the share price.

You simply decide how much you want to invest even if it’s not enough to buy a whole share, you can still own a fraction of it. This helps you fully utilise your available funds to build a diversified portfolio.

Which Securities Support Fractional Trading?

US Market

• Over 10,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs are eligible for fractional trading on Syfe Brokerage.
• Fractional trading is enabled by default for most US securities, excluding penny stocks.
• We're continually expanding the list of eligible securities based on demand, trading activity, volatility, and price.
• If a security is not eligible for fractional trading, you will see an error message when attempting to trade a fractional amount.
• There are no extra fees for trading fractional shares. 

UK Market

• Fractional trading is supported for UK markets on Syfe Brokerage
• If a security is not eligible for fractional trading, you will see an error message when attempting to trade a fractional amount.
• There are no extra fees for trading fractional shares. 

Singapore and Hong Kong Markets

• Fractional trading is not supported for SGX and HKEX-listed securities.
• However, Odd lot trading is available when you trade SGX-listed assets on our app. Search for the stock under Trade and select “Odd lot” as the order type. Odd lots are limit orders only.
• The minimum quantity is 1 share. The maximum is 9 shares for stocks with a 10-share board lot (D05, G07, H02, C07, J36, BN4, O39, K6S, S68, U11, V03) and 99 shares for all other stocks and REITs. Standard Brokerage trading fees apply as usual for each transaction.
• For SGX-listed stocks and REITs, trading is supported in board lots of 10 or 100 shares, depending on the stock, or odd lots. (please refer to here)
