Yes, you can cancel an order as long as its status is still Pending or Partially Executed.
Steps to cancel an order:
- Log in to your Syfe app and select Trade (Brokerage).
- Tap Open Orders
- Select View All.
- Select the trade you wish to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Order and confirm.
If successful, the order is successfully cancelled, you’ll receive an in-app notification, and the order will move to ‘Past’ with the status updated to cancelled.
- For partially executed orders, only the unfilled portion will be cancelled.
- For limit orders cancelled outside market hours, the status may temporarily show as Pending Cancellation. These will be automatically cancelled before the market reopens and will not be executed.

Do I get charged when I cancel an order?
No, cancelling an order is free. Any funds or buying power held for the order will be released, including Syfe’s commission fees (if any).
- For partially executed orders, commission fees only apply to the portion that was filled.
- If a free trade is used, it will be returned to your quota once the order is cancelled.
