If you have more than one Syfe portfolio, you can transfer funds from one portfolio to another directly via your Syfe app.
To initiate an internal transfer, please follow these steps:
- Open your Syfe app and select the portfolio you wish to transfer funds from.
- Tap “Manage” > “Transfer between portfolios.”
- Choose either a partial or full internal transfer, depending on your preference. For more details, refer to: What is the difference between a partial and full withdrawal?
Important notes on internal transfers:
- An internal transfer involves selling off all (full transfer) or part of the assets (partial transfer) in the portfolio you are transferring funds out of.
- The proceeds will then be used to buy assets in the destination portfolio you wish to invest in.
- If the portfolio you wish to fund does not appear as an option, it likely means you have not yet created it. Please create the portfolio first and tap “I have funded” to complete the setup. Once done, the portfolio will appear as a selectable option for transfer. Dormant portfolios cannot be selected for funding, you may create a new portfolio instead.
- Internal transfers for SRS portfolios are currently not supported.
How long does an internal transfer take?
An internal transfer timeline depends on the types of portfolios you are transferring from and to.
In general, an internal transfer involves two key phases:
-
Selling phase:
- The assets in your source portfolio will be sold first.
- Do note that market prices may fluctuate during this period, which may affect the final amount transferred for full transfer.
-
Buying phase:
- Once the sell trades have settled, the funds will be transferred and invested into your destination portfolio.
For more information on the estimated timeline depending on the type of portfolio: please refer to this article:

Note: For full internal transfers, the final amount transferred may differ from the amount shown in your dashboard at the time you placed the request. For more details: If I submit a full withdrawal/internal transfer request, will I get the full amount currently displayed in my portfolio?
